Blooming Beautiful: Bringing Colour to the Parish

Our stunning floral displays don’t happen by chance. Behind every vibrant planter and beautifully maintained flower bed is a great deal of planning, hard work and ongoing care.

The displays are carefully designed to provide a colourful mix of seasonal flowers and pollinator-friendly plants, creating attractive spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy. Preparing the beds involves clearing old planting, improving the soil, carefully positioning each plant, and ensuring the displays complement their surroundings.

Once planted, the work continues throughout the season with regular watering, deadheading, weeding, feeding and general maintenance to keep the flowers looking their very best. This ongoing care ensures our displays remain healthy, vibrant and full of colour for many months.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone involved in helping to make our village look so welcoming and attractive. These beautiful displays are something the whole community can take pride in and are a wonderful example of how thoughtful planting can brighten our shared public spaces.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
