What we do
about the parish council
We serve as the local government voice for the area and are involved in lots of activities within the parish.
We have set up Working Groups to support and manage these projects.
Bus Shelters & BENCHES
The Parish Council has installed and maintains four bus shelters within the parish. These are situated outside the Crown Pub on Stourbridge Road, outside Catshill Middle School on Gibb Lane, near the roundabout at the junction of Gibb Lane and Meadow Road, and outside the Miu Miu Restaurant on the A38 Birmingham Road.

Bench seats and chatty benches are located in various areas for residents.
The concept behind Chatty Benches is
straightforward yet powerful: installed benches are marked with signs indicating that those seated are open to chatting with others.
This creates opportunities for spontaneous conversations, helping to break down barriers and foster a sense of belonging.
